Sr. Process Development Engineer – Extrusion | Minnesota
La Cresta Life Sciences is partnering with a global medical device manufacturer to find an extrusion expert who enjoys solving complex process challenges and bringing new products into production. This is a 100% onsite role in Minnesota, with a base salary of $120,000–$150,000 , depending on experience.
You’ll work with product development, operations, quality and customer teams to define tubing requirements, develop tooling and equipment, establish processing parameters, and characterize and validate extrusion processes. You’ll also provide technical guidance on development projects and existing production, lead improvement efforts, and mentor engineers and technicians.
What we’re looking for
- 7+ years of progressive engineering experience in medical devices, with deep extrusion expertise
- Hands-on experience producing
single-lumen, multi-lumen and vacuum-sized polymer tubing
- Experience developing and validating extrusion processes and qualifying tooling or equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead work across functions
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field; candidates with 15+ years of relevant experience may also be considered
