Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Proficient summarizing data and creating charts in Excel, building presentations in PowerPoint.
- Experience leading multiple projects that required coordination with people outside your immediate team (other departments, vendors or external groups).
- Experienced in analyzing data to identify the true root cause of a problem in addition to implementing countermeasures.
- Experience creating and presenting reports to multiple levels of management.
- 1+ year evaluating color and appearance of painted surfaces.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and shutdown periods to support projects.
- Ability to travel (up to 30%) to support NAMC competitiveness.
Nice to have
- Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science, etc.
- TBP completed through panel
- Served as SME or internal auditor for North American QR/QS/QH process
- Project experience within Paint Pilot function
- 1+ years of experience in paint lab doing workability evaluations
- Basic Japanese language skills
- Basic Spanish language skills
