Description Mechanical Engineering-Faculty Faculty Position Mechanical Engineering Program Ave Maria University Ave Maria FL 34142 The Mechanical Engineering Program at Ave Maria University invites applications for a full-time, open rank, non-tenured faculty position to start in the 2027-2028 academic year. The position requires both research and teaching of Mechanical Engineering subject matters at the undergraduate level in the following areas: - Machine Design and Material Sciences - Thermal Sciences Preference will be given to candidates with relevant industry and research experience having earned a doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for full consideration. The following documents must be submitted: - Cover Letter - Curriculum Vitae and List of Publications - Graduate and Undergraduate University Transcripts - Teaching Philosophy as it Relates to the Apostolic Constitution Ex Corde Ecclesiae - Undergraduate Research Statement - Three Letters of Recommendation Review of applications will begin in the fall of 2026 and will continue until the position is filled.
