The Q.A. Inspector is responsible for determining if our products follow our Manufacturing Process Plan (MPP) and meet established criteria for quality. Q.A. Inspectors will rotate through all production departments.

Responsibilities

Test parts and assemblies using established procedures. Follow established inspection methods and sampling plans, conduct testing and inspection in any department, including molding, assembly, distribution, and receiving. Enter inventory transactions. Conduct all work promptly and with accuracy. Thoroughly document data such as product non-conformances and inspection findings and clearly communicate results. Standing for periods of time and moving on foot throughout the plant conducting inspections is required. Support and comply with all Suncast safety policies, quality standards, and housekeeping methods at all times.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent Ability to read and understand drawings and documents Basic math skills needed Basic computer and data entry skills. Familiarity with Quality Assurance concepts and inspection experience not required but a strong plus Bilingual English/Spanish a plus Good interpersonal and communication skills Detail-oriented and able to work well without direct supervision Manufacturing experience strongly preferred Must be able to work 6 days per week Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

The Anticipated Pay Range for This Position: $20.00-$21.00 hourly The anticipated pay range listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual pay will be based on but not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Suncast employees’ equity.

Suncast will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
