Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, materials science, electrochemistry, or related discipline A minimum of 3 years of hands-on laboratory experience in electrochemical testing, battery development, materials processing, or a related technical area. Demonstrated ability to follow written procedures, maintain accurate laboratory records, and work safely with laboratory equipment and materials Experience with battery or redox-flow-battery cell assembly, cycling, performance evaluation, or troubleshooting. Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Trackable publication records Existing national lab work experiences Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and to participate creatively in collaborative teams across the laboratory. Special Requirements: This position requires regular onsite work in a laboratory environment in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and compliance with applicable ORNL safety procedures.
