Ceramic Core Engineer

What You'll Be Doing
- Serve as the technical authority for ceramic materials and core manufacturing processes • Develop and scale a greenfield ceramic core manufacturing operation • Drive process improvements in forming, injection molding, thermal processing, finishing, and strengthening • Improve yield, quality, process control, and manufacturing efficiency • Troubleshoot dimensional and structural defects through root cause analysis • Partner with manufacturing, quality, tooling, and engineering teams globally • Utilize SPC methodologies and data analysis to improve process capability and product quality • Travel internationally to support manufacturing sites and best-practice implementation
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Ceramic Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field • 5+ years of engineering experience in ceramics processing, investment casting, foundry operations, injection molding, or advanced materials manufacturing • Experience with process development, manufacturing optimization, and continuous improvement • Strong understanding of SPC, Minitab, Excel, or similar statistical analysis tools • Knowledge of laboratory testing methods and materials characterization • Familiarity with tooling, dimensional inspection, and GD&T • Passport required or ability to obtain one for international travel • U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
