We are looking for a professional like you to join our team! This position supports the daily operation of Surventis products in Customer Automotive Assembly Plants by providing on-site technical and application knowledge. The role responds to customer requirements, enforces product quality/performance specification, and supports new product/application development. The Customer Site Service Representative III (CSSR III) will provide on-site expertise of product performance including color management, defect identification, and corrective action if necessary. S/he will develop and support customer relationships.

The role supports the efforts of a Surventis sales/technical team to assure value to the customer for product technical support, problem investigation, analysis and resolution. The position assures product performance meets or exceeds customer expectations and supports business objectives to be our customer’s supplier of choice.

The incumbent will demonstrate the technical and professional expertise to enhance Surventis’ reputation with the customer. S/he will integrate within the business and technical community to bring additional value to coatings customers. The role controls key performance indicators within product service environments to drive problem resolution and product improvement initiatives critical to customer performance expectations.

As a Customer Site Service Representative III, you will...

• Support the daily operation of Surventis products in Customer Automotive Assembly Plants.
• Provide on-site technical and application expertise of product performance including color management, defect identification, and corrective action if necessary.
• Assure product performance meets or exceeds customer expectations and supports business objectives to be our customer’s supplier of choice.
• Respond to customer requirements, enforce product quality/performance specification, and support new product/application development.
• Support the efforts of a Surventis sales/technical team to assure value to the customer for product technical support, problem investigation, analysis, and resolution.
• Manage existing relationships and develop new ones.

If you have...

• A background in Coatings to enable you to manage and improve the paint shop process flow as you perform root cause analysis on observed defects, analyze the data and suggest corrective actions or changes.
• SAP knowledge and strong project management skills to manage inventory, product usage, paint trials and new product launches.
• Proven experience with paint processes (including ancillary paint processes) and applications will allow you to lead a shift and make decisions without supervision.
• The ability to develop key internal and external relationships as you communicate with all levels of the customer organization to assess customer requirements, collaborate effectively with your team, management, internal organization such as manufacturing and supply chain as you adapt to diverse cultures and manufacturing plants.
• 4+ years of Automotive Coatings Industry or equivalent experience preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma (or GED)
