Role Overview
Perform Paint Materials activities through strategic planning and execution to meet key performance indicators and exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and analyze testing instrumentation and data for proper evaluation.
- Assess current materials and processes to develop planning strategies for future needs.
- Verify new formulated materials via testing, visual inspection, and process confirmation to ensure compliance.
- Lead or support complex problem-solving related to material and product specifications to ensure quality, cost, delivery, morale, and environment (SQCDME).
- Test, evaluate, and control formulations to meet specifications and standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience (minimum 6 years).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent visual color acuity and ability to pass Munsell color testing.
- Strong technical, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to interpret design specs and testing procedures, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Working Conditions
