Responsibilities
- Manage injection mold projects, including design reviews, suppliers, timelines, budgets, and quality.
- Review product designs for moldability, cost savings, and manufacturing improvements.
- Oversee mold design, modifications, approvals, and production release.
- Manage APQP, Mold Filling Analysis (MFA), project documentation, and customer communication.
- Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, procurement, and suppliers.
Requirements
- BS in Plastics, Polymer, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in injection molding, tooling, or engineering preferred.
- Strong knowledge of injection molds, thermoplastic resins, and molding processes.
- 3D CAD proficiency (SolidWorks preferred), MFA, GD&T, and mold design.
- Strong project management, communication, and Microsoft Office skills.
Preferred: Mold-making experience, scientific molding, Six Sigma certification, and PMP certification.
