Northrop Grumman Space Systems is currently seeking a Process Manufacturing Engineer to support our Rocket Motor Case Prep Process Engineering team at our Promontory, Utah Plant.

Role Description & Responsibilities: Developing and improving manufacturing processes Spending time in the operations area observing and monitoring rocket motor case prep processes Performing cause and corrective action activities to permanently eliminate defects using root cause analysis tools Working with concurrent engineering teams to ensure proper documentation and on-time production Authoring, updating and reviewing shop floor work instructions Preparing and presenting technical presentations to technical teams, leadership, and to customers for review and approval Performing table top reviews Using SPC tools to ensure process control Developing and incorporating process improvements Troubleshooting production/tooling/facility issues and implementing improvements and solutions Supporting design, checkout, qualification and implementation of new or modified tooling or equipment Accurately documenting and scoring Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA) worksheets Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree STEM with 2 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 0 years of professional experience.

Good problem-solving skills and strong oral and written communication skills Good organization and multi-tasking skills Interpreting blueprints and specifications Excellent computer skills. 00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
