Responsibilities
- + Develop new and improved products to meet customer demands in a rapid manner.
- + Interact with suppliers to identify and qualify raw materials.
- + Provide technical support to all company departments including Sales, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Quality Control.
- + Support Technical Sales by attending product trials at customer sites.
- + Create detailed technical reports by organizing and summarizing work.
- + Characterize, handle, label, inspect, and dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with environmental regulations.
- + Serve as a mentor to less experienced technical staff
Qualifications
- + Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- + 3-5 years of industrial experience, including product development and formulation.
- + Knowledge in polymers, lubricants, coatings, emulsions, and surface chemistry.
- + Knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes.
- + Wood & Paper industry knowledge a plus.
