Seeking a Supplier Development Engineer to develop, qualify, and improve suppliers manufacturing non-metallic cowling assemblies. The role focuses on supplier capability, quality, tooling transfers, APQP/PPAP, process improvement, and new product launches.

Key Responsibilities

Qualify new suppliers through capability assessments, audits, and feasibility reviews.
Manage supplier improvement plans for quality, delivery, and productivity.
Support tooling transfers, process readiness, and supplier launch activities.
Lead APQP and review PPAP submissions, capability studies, and certifications.
Develop and review PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams.
Drive Lean Six Sigma, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
Monitor supplier performance using PPM, OTD, and process capability metrics.
Collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, and suppliers on design and manufacturability.
