Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems and processes to enhance product reliability and performance. This position is responsible for maintaining and improving the plant specific quality system. The Quality Engineer will also utilize effective analysis procedures in regards to quality standards. The position will need to respond quickly to quality issues as well as any customer complaints.

Essential Functions

• Implementation of quality management systems according to ISO 14001, IATF 16949.

• Collaborate with other departments and team members to create and maintain documentation.

• Continual quality management and quality check planning.

• Auditing all current processes to maintain standards to current regulations and specifications.

• Ensuring quality of raw materials and finished goods.

• Completing analysis in any case of deviation.

• Assist with projects and meetings.

• Manage all quality complaints.

• Responsible for organization and planning of internal audits for systems, products and processes.

• Management of customer audits.

• Responsible for recording and analyzing quality data.

• Responsible for PPAPs including dimensional measurements.

Required Education & Experience

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline preferred.

• 3-5 years of Quality Engineer experience preferred.

• Previous experience with ISO 14001 IATF 16949, etc.

• Previous experience in the automotive or automotive supplier industry.

• Quality certifications preferred.

• VDA 6.3 Training or ability to achieve preferred.

• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, standard operating procedures, and maintenance instructions in English.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence in English.

Ability to speak effectively to managers or employees of the organization in English.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.

The noise level in the work environment can be moderate to loud.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
