JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS The Department of Materials Science and Engineering is accepting applications for a researcher position. The researcher will assist in designing, batching, melting, and characterizing new glass compositions. Applicants are expected to have obtained an M.S. degree in Materials Science and Engineering or a related field. Applicants are also expected to demonstrate good knowledge of glass and ceramics and possess relevant laboratory skills. Applicants with at least an M.S. degree in a relevant are preferred.

Compensation

The starting rate for this job is $56/hr. BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
