2nd shift Monday-Friday 3:00 pm-11:00 pm About the role: The Extrusion Production Technician I is responsible for ensuring that the extrusion line runs efficiently resulting in high-quality products. This role is a key contributor to the team's continuous improvement efforts in achieving monthly production metrics and in safety, quality, sustainability, and production costs.
What you will do
Assist senior extrusion operators in machine setup, production, and development runs to hit desired product specifications. Perform troubleshooting and general maintenance of extrusion equipment including inspections and safety checks to ensure good working conditions. Complete daily tasks by following all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Use production travelers and other documentation to identify and confirm raw material accuracy before starting manufacturing runs. Comply and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure all quality documentation is completed correctly.
Assist in the inspection of final products to ensure that senior extrusion operators are completing operational reviews in a timely manner.
