Role details

The R&D Lab Technician works under the supervision of Director of R&D to perform all QC testing on R&D trials, competitive fabric and complaint samples. Works with chemicals and testing equipment to assist in development

of new products. Conduct routine fabric/chemical tests on R&D Development and trials samples with all QC and R&D tests required to match industry standards and customer specification.

Requirements

High School degree or equivalent.

Experience working with chemicals, testing chemicals, coatings and R & D trials in production

2 years' experience in a physical testing laboratory

Must have

good math and communication skills

Experience in physical testing laboratory procedures & R&D testing procedures is required.

Must have

demonstrated personal computer skills with an emphasis on Excel, Microsoft Word, database (R-base), AS400, Labware, Sharepoint, Stagegate, and Powerpoint
