Learn how you can start or jumpstart your career with us. We are seeking an R&D Engineer to develop and validate test methods for advanced heat transfer systems. The R&D engineer executes with collaboration between scientific, engineering, and global test teams to support new product development. The R&D engineer is responsible for tests that characterize thermal, mechanical, electrical, and long-term reliability performance of heat transfer systems.

Key Responsibilitie s Design and develop test methods to evaluate the thermal, mechanical, electrical, rheological, and reliability performance of heat transfer technologies. Establish, optimize, and validate test protocols using equipment such as thermal test vehicles, thermal analyzers, mechanical compression systems, rheometers, and environmental chambers. Develop and implement automated test sequences and instrument interfaces to improve testing throughput, repeatability, and data integrity. Design and validate prototype fixtures that reproduce customer application conditions. Write technical reports on test development and test results.

Mechanical & Thermal Characterization Evaluate interactions between TIMs and system interfaces, including heat spreaders, heat sinks, power modules, and IGBT/SiC-based packages. Investigate anomalous or unexpected test results through root-cause analysis. Analyze large and complex datasets to extract key performance metrics and establish statistical confidence in results. Partner with materials scientists, design engineers, and product managers to support material formulation and product development decisions. Support customer validation testing and application-specific performance evaluations. Train laboratory technicians and global test teams to ensure consistent execution.

Experience with phase-transition heat transfer technologies like heat pipes and vapor chambers is a plus.
