Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer in either Peachtree City, GA or Moon Township, PA.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year.

What You’ll Do

Eaton’s Energy Transition business is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the development, integration, testing, and validation of battery energy storage and EV charging solutions. This is an early-career opportunity to gain hands-on experience with power electronics, energy storage, EV charging, controls, and system integration, while working with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

  • Support the design, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of BESS, EV charging, and electrification systems.
  • Develop and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, specifications, and engineering documentation.
  • Support integration and validation of batteries, power conversion systems, controls, and communication interfaces.
  • Perform laboratory testing, collect and analyze data, and help troubleshoot electrical and system-level issues.
  • Collaborate with electrical, firmware/software, mechanical, systems, manufacturing, and quality teams.
  • Support prototype builds, design reviews, product validation, certification, and field commissioning activities.
  • Develop test procedures, engineering reports, and work instructions.
  • Contribute to product safety, reliability, quality, and performance improvements

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution (December 2026 grads are eligible to apply!)
  • Minimum one (1) year of relevant engineering experience, which may include internship, co-op, research, or significant hands-on project experience.
  • Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Moon Township PA or Peachtree City GA will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Coursework or hands-on experience in power electronics, such as converters, inverters, DC/DC converters, motor drives, or power supplies.
  • Exposure to battery energy storage, EV charging, renewable energy, or power distribution systems.
  • Familiarity with batteries, BMS, power conversion systems, or energy management/control systems.
  • Familiarity with CAN, Modbus, or other industrial communication protocols.
  • Firmware/programming experience using C/C++, Python, embedded systems, or microcontrollers is a plus.
  • Mechanical or electromechanical design aptitude is a plus.
  • Experience with oscilloscopes, power analyzers, data acquisition systems, or CAN tools is preferred.
