What to Expect

We are seeking a test technician to evaluate cell level performance during early design stages across vehicle and energy storage programs. In this role, you will safely test cells of all form factors, organize test execution, and drive improvements in test efficiency. This work enables cell engineers to rapidly evaluate and optimize options for future cell designs in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

What You'll Do

• Conduct performance and characterization tests on cells under electrical, mechanical, and thermal stresses to analyze safety performance and improve designs
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure test plans meet requirements and targets
• Plan test execution and manage logistics both hands-on and digitally
• Improve test capability and efficiency through continuous improvements to test methods, rigs, and equipment
• Perform periodic maintenance, calibration, and repairs
• Adhere to company safety and conduct policies
• Support engineering activities including process and equipment validations

What You'll Bring

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
• High awareness of safety hazards, procedures, and best practices
• Hands-on experience with tools
• Electrical fundamentals and experience with multimeters
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform independent work as a self-starter and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Expected Compensation

$23.18 - $62.13/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
