Role details

Why Work with Us

Newton Instrument Company (NIC) has been making metal products for over 75 years. We're based in Butner, NC. Most of what we make is for the telecom industry, like racks and cabinets for the electronics in the network that support everyone's smartphone and the "server farms" being deployed to bring fast internet to rural and underserved areas.

We're ISO-9001 certified, and our team has lots of experience, with many members having worked here for years or even decades to ensure high-quality products.

  • All of our manufacturing areas are climate controlled (warm in the winter, cool in the summer)
  • Our amazing medical plan includes a pre-funded debit card which limits your personal out of pocket costs to your bi-weekly payroll deductions (with a few exceptions). Our team members love this.

  • Monitor powder usage and inventory levels and assist with material management.
  • Follow all safety procedures, environmental regulations, and housekeeping standards.
