Essential Duties

and Responsibilities Adheres to all safety policies and procedures Visually inspects finished product for conformity to production schedule and accepted quality standards Packages materials according to production schedule Samples and tests finished product for conformity to ISO Standards Labels finished product Ensures all activities conform to the requirements of ISO 9002 and 14001 Assists the Extruder Operator in such activities as tooling changes and/or transitions Maintains work area in neat and orderly condition according to 5S guidelines Participates with others in team improvement projects and activities Works overtime as required Communicates with other personnel through use of walkie-talkie radio Basic Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to read a tape measure within 1/16 of an inch Travel Requirements None — no travel required.

Physical and Mental Requirements Physical requirements: Heavy — exerting up to 100 lbs./45 kgs of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs./22 kgs of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs./9 kgs of force constantly to move objects.

Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; and talk or hear Frequently required to reach with hands and arms; occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision and depth perception Regularly works near moving mechanical parts Occasionally works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate Mental requirements: Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization Must be able to express or exchange ideas with other employees Must be able to understand direction and adhere to established procedures Must be able to work in a group setting and as a team Apply Now Subscribe to receive the latest news, product releases and more!
