What You´ll Do

  • Evaluate existing and new synthetic routes for monomers/polymers, and coating formulations to define scale up strategies.
  • Make valuable contributions to the selection and design of viable synthetic pathways and raw materials to generate high quality products, increase yields, stream line the synthesis process, and optimize any safety and environmental aspects at reduced cost.
  • Work safely day-to-day in the laboratory and help lead safety initiatives.
  • Demonstrate processes safely in the laboratory, pilot and manufacturing with recommendations on equipment selection which allows safe manufacturing.
  • Collaborate and maintain interactions with internal stakeholders as well as suppliers of raw materials.

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelors degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
  • 1-3 years experience chemical lab experience or chemical plant experience
  • Synthetic benchtop laboratory experience on a scale from 50mL to 6L
  • Experience with analytical testing techniques, specifically GPC, FTIR, and GC
  • Production plant or pilot plant experience is nice to have but not necessary

The salary range for this role is $70,000.00 and $95,000.00. This range represents the good‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
