Role details
Location: This position is based on-site in Lebanon, KY. Remote work is not available. Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) Employment Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities Manage engineering project schedules and capital investments. Develop equipment and tooling specifications and oversee installation, startup, and production trials. Design and improve manufacturing processes to meet quality, cost, efficiency, safety, and productivity targets. Create and maintain process documentation, including Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), process flow diagrams, work instructions, risk assessments, and trial reports. Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Drive Kaizen and continuous improvement activities. Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to support successful project execution. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, ISO, TS, and company standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience. Experience with injection molding, thermoplastic resins, rubber processing, and manufacturing processes. Strong project management and problem-solving skills. Ability to develop Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) , conduct design reviews, and perform root cause analysis. Knowledge of Toyota Production System (TPS) and Lean Manufacturing principles.
Strong communication and technical presentation skills. Experience working with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment. Technical Skills Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, and Visio) AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software Manufacturing process design and optimization Physical & Work Environment Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and production equipment. Frequent standing and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required.
