Job Description

We are seeking an experienced aerospace engineering leader to provide technical and organizational leadership for our engineering organization and support the continued growth of our aerospace composite manufacturing operations. The position will initially fulfill a Principal engineering function. This position is intended for a highly experienced engineer with a strong background in the design, development, industrialization, and manufacture of advanced composite aerospace structures. The successful candidate will combine deep technical knowledge with practical manufacturing experience and demonstrated leadership ability.

This position will initially work closely with the Vice President of Engineering and other senior leaders to understand the company's technologies, customers, manufacturing capabilities, engineering processes, and strategic objectives. Over time, the individual will be expected to assume increasing responsibility for the engineering organization and broader technical leadership. This is an opportunity for an experienced aerospace professional to become a key member of the company's leadership team and potentially progress into the senior engineering leadership role.

Qualifications

*The strongest candidates may have experience in one or more of the following areas:*

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. Advanced degree preferred but not required.
• 15–20+ years of progressive engineering experience in the aerospace industry.
• Significant experience involving the manufacture of advanced composite aerospace structures or components.
• Strong understanding of composite materials and manufacturing processes
• Composite structural assembly
• Must be US Person

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $141,000 to $176,300 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 3X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.

This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
