Job Description
Reporting directly into the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Lead engineering initiatives to improve manufacturing equipment, processes, and overall operational performance.
- Analyze process data and utilize statistical problem-solving methodologies to identify opportunities for efficiency, quality, and cost improvements.
- Plan, coordinate, execute, and evaluate equipment, tooling, and process validation activities.
- Develop project plans, implementation strategies, timelines, resource requirements, and measurable success criteria.
- Act as a technical partner to product development and manufacturing teams to ensure new products and processes can be effectively commercialized.
- Create and maintain equipment, product, and process specifications.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and establish sustainable process controls that maintain long-term gains.
- Support implementation of new technologies and solutions through training, documentation, and operational handover activities.
- Participate in cross-functional project reviews and contribute to broader operational excellence strategies.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer requirements are translated into reliable manufacturing outcomes.

The Successful Applicant
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline such as Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Plastics, etc.
- 5+ of experience in an industrial manufacturing setting
- Background in plastics manufacturing
- Lean Manufacturing and SixSigma
- Experience using PowerBI
- Experience in project management
- Senior level experience and depth of knowledge
