What will I do?

  • Lead a production crew to meet daily output goals while proactively planning for future runs
  • Apply the quality standards defined by our customers and Teknor Color Company
  • Gather batch cards and verify product requirements before each run
  • Keep all equipment running safely; step in to troubleshoot or operate as needed
  • Coordinate with operators for smooth changeovers and steady line operation
  • Enter accurate shift performance data into the daily production report
  • Enforce company rules, policies, and safe operating procedures
  • Support overtime or alternate schedules when business requires
  • Prepare people, raw materials, and equipment for upcoming jobs ahead of time
  • Follow procedures, work instructions, and test methods to document in-process tests and final QC inspection

Where and when will I work?

  • Location: Jacksonville, TX
  • Hours: 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm (training begins on 1st shift)
  • Reporting line: Production Manager

What qualifications are needed?

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2–3 years operating production equipment; plastics processing background preferred
  • Hands-on familiarity with plastic extrusion equipment (preferred)
  • Forklift certification
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Organized, detail-focused, and able to juggle multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated leadership of a production team
  • Lift and carry up to 55 pounds; able to wear a respirator

Must be 18 years of age to work at Teknor Apex.
