Resin Molding Technician

Position Summary
This role is responsible for applying resin to composite materials, preparing wood veneer to be pre-wetted with resin and application of the plastic core during the molding process of the Baum composite baseball bat. This person works with a variety of composite materials, wood veneer, polyurethane foam and be responsible for the entire molding process
Position Responsibilities
- Mix and apply resin to composite materials to enhance their strength and durability.
- Inspect and prepare wood veneer for assembly process.
- Prepare bat’s assembly for polyurethane core injection.
- Place cored assembly into molds, demold cored assembly after resin cured.
- Operate machinery and equipment to apply resin to materials.
- Inspect each piece for imperfections and defects and make necessary repairs.
- Work with the various production teams to ensure proper scheduling and timely delivery of finished materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Record and report any issues with equipment or supplies to the supervisor.

Position Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience required
- Knowledge of different types of resins and their applications preferred.
- Familiarity with composite materials and their properties preferred.
