Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Process Engineer to join our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing production processes, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring manufacturing efficiency and quality standards. This role requires a strong background in industrial engineering, mechanical knowledge, and experience with manufacturing systems, including plastics injection molding, CNC programming, and CAD tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop, analyze, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify process issues and implement corrective actions.
- Design and modify tooling, fixtures, and equipment using AutoCAD, and Schematics.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers, CNC machines, and vision inspection systems.
- Lead projects related to process automation, robotics integration, and fabrication improvements.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and streamline assembly lines.
- Support factory experience enhancements through process innovation and equipment upgrades.
- Provide technical support for industrial equipment maintenance and fabrication activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in process engineering within a manufacturing facility or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of plastics injection molding processes and tooling design.
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Hands-on experience with CNC programming (CNC), robot programming, welding techniques, and fabrication processes.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment operation, Schematics interpretation, GD&T standards, and vision inspection systems.
- Experience implementing lean manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement strategies.
- Mechanical knowledge of assembly lines, tooling design, industrial equipment maintenance, and factory automation systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities for cross-disciplinary collaboration. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year
