The Process Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, qualifying, and sustaining semiconductor, microfabrication, and nanofabrication processes to meet product performance, yield, and quality objectives. The role partners closely with Equipment Engineering, Operations, and EHS teams to ensure stable manufacturing operations and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and qualify manufacturing processes and recipes to achieve target specifications.
• Design and execute DOE (Design of Experiments) for process development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor process performance using SPC and other process control methodologies.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for process deviations and yield issues.
• Support daily production by resolving process-related issues and ensuring process stability.
• Collaborate with Equipment Engineers to maintain tool health, process capability, and qualification following maintenance or upgrades.
• Support installation, qualification, and ramp-up of new tools, materials, and process capabilities.
• Create and maintain SOPs, process documentation, qualification reports, SPC plans, and engineering records.
• Ensure compliance with cleanroom, safety, contamination control, and EHS requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or related field.
• Experience in Process Engineering within semiconductor, nanofabrication, MEMS, or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with photolithography and etch processes in a cleanroom environment.
• Knowledge of SPC, DOE, process characterization, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Experience with semiconductor fabrication equipment and cleanroom operations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with processes such as RIE/ICP, EBL, PECVD, PVD, ALD, Metrology.
• Knowledge of process qualification, yield improvement, and semiconductor manufacturing best practices.
• Familiarity with vacuum-based process equipment and semiconductor process integration.
• Experience with advanced packaging, MEMS, or nanofabrication technologies.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or related field.

Pay and Benefits

• Pay Range Minimum: $78000/annum
• Pay Range Maximum: $141000/annum

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
