Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and optimize manufacturing processes using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Creo to design tooling, fixtures, and equipment layouts.
• Lead process improvement projects utilizing Six Sigma methodologies to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), robotics, CNC machines, CAM programming, and vision inspection systems to automate production lines effectively.
• Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations or quality issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical design, fabrication, assembly, and quality assurance to streamline workflows and improve overall manufacturing performance.
• Manage project scheduling from conception through implementation to ensure timely delivery of process upgrades or new product introductions.
• Analyze engineering data to identify trends, optimize parameters, and support data-driven decision-making in manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field; advanced certifications such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing are preferred.
• Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role with hands-on factory experience.
• Proficiency with CAD software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo; experience with schematics and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Strong knowledge of plastics injection molding processes, tooling fabrication, CNC programming, CAM programming, and industrial automation systems.
• Familiarity with robotics programming, vision inspection systems, welding techniques, and assembly line processes.
• Expertise in project management methodologies including scheduling tools and risk management strategies.
• Ability to perform engineering troubleshooting using root cause analysis techniques; skilled in process engineering and continuous improvement practices.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration; capable of leading teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
