Description
The Department of Chemistry at the University of Houston invites applications for a non-tenure-track Instructional Assistant Professor position.
The successful candidate, with a required PhD in chemistry, will contribute to the department's undergraduate instructional mission by teaching General Chemistry lecture courses (CHEM 1305, 1311, and 1312), coordinating multi-section courses, and participating in curriculum and assessment activities that support student success.
The position emphasizes excellence in undergraduate teaching, development of instructional materials and assessments, and collaboration with faculty and university partners that support the teaching of general chemistry.
