Role details

Agape Plastics, a leading supplier of injection-molded parts to the automotive industry, has an immediate opening for a process technician on 1st Shift.

The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of injection molding experience. Experience with automotive parts is a plus.

Responsibilities/job duties will include the following:

  • Communicate with Supervisor, Lead Tech and Manufacturing Engineers both verbally and written
  • Start-up and shut-down multiple machines daily following shift and/or mold changes
  • Troubleshoot injection molding machines/processing problems on machines ranging from 85T - 1650T and correct in timely manner
  • Troubleshoot end-of-arm tooling and 3-axis robot programs as needed to correct problems in production
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas
  • Minor troubleshooting/maintenance of auxiliary and assembly equipment
  • Hi-lo license required
  • Strong attention to detail and safety focused
  • Daily documentation of processes
  • Ability to follow standard procedures as outlined in Quality Manual
  • Must be able to assist setup techs in the changing of molds if needed
  • Ability to work as a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
