Manufacturing, and Mold Tooling?

We are looking for a technically strong professional to lead engineering projects from initial concept through production readiness, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to customer specifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and manage technical projects from initiation through production readiness.
Oversee project schedules, budgets, costs, and overall execution.
Prepare cost estimates and customer quotations for tooling and support equipment.
Review customer designs to identify manufacturing challenges, quality issues, and cost-reduction opportunities.
Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal engineering and manufacturing teams.
Manage project timelines, scope changes, and technical deliverables.
Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and production requirements.
Lead project review meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Plastics, Polymer, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Strong knowledge of injection molding processes and manufacturing operations.
Solid understanding of injection mold tooling design and construction.
Knowledge of engineering and commodity resins.
Working knowledge of GD&T, drafting, and tolerancing techniques.
Intermediate 3D CAD skills and experience working with customer design files.
Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

6+ years of experience in injection molding, tooling, and engineering.
Professional-level SolidWorks experience.
Background in mold-making and product design.
Experience with scientific molding and mold-filling analysis.
Project Management certification.
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
Familiarity with manufacturing ERP systems such as IQMS / DELMIAWorks.
