Role details
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Mold Design Engineer to join our tooling and engineering team. This role is responsible for designing and developing plastic injection molds and structural foam molds from OEM-supplied part models and engineering requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mold design principles, plastics processing, and manufacturing requirements, along with hands-on experience using Creo and/or SolidWorks. The Mold Design Engineer will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, and customers to develop reliable, cost-effective, and manufacturable mold solutions.
Required skills/experience:
- High School Diploma/GED/Associate's Degree preferably in Engineering, Manufacturing, Tool & Die, or a related technical discipline.
- More than 2 years of experience in plastic molding, injection molding, mold design, tooling, or a closely related field.
- Proficiency in Creo and/or SolidWorks.
- Understanding of injection molding processes and plastic part design.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
